Please check the item hangtag or sewn-in label for washing information (also available in individual item descriptons on this site). If your item is surface-washable/hand-washable you can spot clean with soap and warm water. If your item is machine-washable (like most of our babyGUND line) follow these instructions:
- Place plush toy in washing machine with gentle detergent on the delicate setting. For extra care, place plush inside a pillowcase or soft cloth bag and close/tie the opening.
- Tumble dry on low or air dry. Gently fluff to return to huggable softness. Note: this may require additional cycles. -
GUND has been making the world’s most huggable toys for over 120 years and while we love each and every one of our plush friends, it is not always possible to keep track of the hundreds of thousands of designs we have made over the years. We recommend checking out your local retailers or GUND.com for some of our more recent quality plush friends. Many customers have scoured the internet and been able to get some idea of the origin of their GUND plush. We hope you're able to create new memories with GUND and cherish your old ones.

We wish we could keep stock of all the wonderful friends we have created over the past 120 years, but there are hundreds of thousands of them! We don’t have the ability to determine the year your plush toy was manufactured or its current worth (an item is worth what the market will BEAR!). Many customers have scoured the internet and been able to get some idea of the origin of their GUND piece. Maybe you will have the same results. Good luck in your quest!
